Encino is sandwiched between two gorgeous, sprawling green spaces: the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area and the endless parks, trails, and canyons of the Santa Monica Mountains and Topanga State Park. Hiking lovers have the most sought-after destinations in the city and country for amazing views and outdoor exercise. The Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area is a wonderful resource for families as it is very near the residential areas of the neighborhood and a great place for families to bond. The park has a golf course, skate parks, dog fields, sporting areas, and boat rentals on the sizable lake.
